A Passion for Photography and capturing speed

Having previously raced combined with a love of motorsports inspires my passion and gives me a unique perspective for this sport. I do love many genres of photography and love creating unique imagery. Though I have a love for all motorsports and cation sports.

I do have an appreciation and love for the art of photography across all genres. If you want to see examples of other genres I shoot please reach out to me.

A Creative at Heart

I come from a creative background and have carried this experience over to my passion for photography. Whether it is photography or video I love to create unique beautiful imagery. Depending on the project creating a beautiful image out of the camera can be first step in the creative process of utilizing post-processing tools to create an image's unique look and feel.

I love shooting action on the track as much as setting up a shoot with lighting in a studio or paddock and outdoors on the track or on a mountain bike trail.

I am passionate about working on new challenging ideas and concepts. Please feel free to reach out to me about any project concepts you have in mind that we can bring to fruition.

Sony Pro Photographer

I am a Pro Sony Photographer and use their pro line of camera bodies and lenses.

My main gearOut of all the gear I use these camera bodies and lenses are staples when shooting Motorsports and Action.

Sony a1

This camera is a 50 megapixel 30 fps beast! Those additional frames with that lock-on focus helps me to pick out those super sharp crisp shots.

The high resolution 50MP gives me the ability to crop in while still keeping a large resolution image. I'd like to have 2 of these.

For motorsports I usually have the 400 2.8 or the 100-400 on this body.

Sony a9

My reliable 20FPS companion to the a1. I love this camera though I find myself often switching lenses from this camera to the a1 to get that 50MP resolution.

I mostly use the 100-400 or the 70-200 2.8 on the a9.

Sony a7III

I usually use the a7III for shots in the pits and some short video work.

The 12-24 and or the 85 1.4 will be on this body.

Sony 400 2.8 GM

My hands down favorite lens to shoot with for action sports. The images this lens can produce are amazingly sharp.

Sony 100-400 4.5-5.6 GM

My favorite panning lens produces tack sharp images and usually lives on the a9 at the track.

Sony 70-200 2.8 GM II

Another great lens for getting some shots at a shorter distance from panning to shots in the garages.

Sony 12-24 2.8 GM

I love the sharp establishing shots I can get from this lens. This will usually live in the a7III to get those wide track and pit shots.

Sony 135 1.8 GM

This is a great lens for getting those shots of the riders on the grid or in the pits blowing the background out.
